Life without White
For West Virginia, the last four years featured a lot of victories and success thanks to quarterback Pat White. Now the Mountaineers must move on without White who is starting his NFL career with the Miami Dolphins.
Jarrett Brown has a strong arm and possesses some of the quickness of White, so the hope is he develops into a similar quarterback.
The team no longer has Rich Rodriguez at the helm, either, but the offensive philosophy won’t change much. If nothing else, the team will rely more heavily on its running game this year, which will feature speedster Noel Devine.
